Garden hose popping off pressure washer

One of the main reasons is having an aqua stop on the garden hose connection. The reason for this is because a build up of water pressure. On the water inlet or coupling the water can cause a pressure build up, popping the garden hose off. The aqua stop is a valve in the end of the garden hose connection that restricts water flow. If the water doesn’t run freely out of the end of the garden hose when it is not connected to your pressure washer then this will be because you have an aqua stop.
Continuing to use an aqua stop on your garden hose with your pressure washer can damage the water inlet or coupling, so if you remove the aqua stop but find you are still having the issues you might need to replace the water inlet and the coupling.
